Thanks for all the helpful info. I guess now the hunt is On. But i don't think im gonna find a 1993 in perfect shape with low miles in the AK. But i guess ill try some other states. Also can you convert the 93 1st generation to the 99 front and rear ends??
Yes it costs about $3,000 not including labor to do a basic conversion. The lower side panels were changed too. To do the whole thing so most experts can't tell without the VIN costs about $14,000.

The head light bucket frame and head light wiring must be moddified. The front active aero must be removed.

You will need:

-External-
Headlights and turn signals.
Front bumper cover
Sail panels
Rear center panel
emblems - about $3,000 at this point
Hood
Rear bumper cover
Rear combat wing
fog lights
18" OEM wheels
Side molding
Paint if your color wasn't a 99 color.

-Other things-
2nd gen brakes
6-speed - not needed if you want a 5-speed
6-speed transfer case - not needed if you want a 5-speed
Drive shaft - not needed if you want a 5-speed

-Interior-
New climate control
Black leather interior vs charcoal gray.
Steering wheel
99 dome light with Homelink
Second gen dash and passenger airbag with 99 SRS and harness.
99 radio and harness.
99 owners manual

Most don't do a full conversion just the nose and lights

I think Ill stick with the Front and Rear end >.< that big $$ so front and rear 99 change would make the active aero a no work? maybe a 94 conversion would be a lot better

I have the Front Aero Replacement which is useful for 99 conversions since the rear aero works without the front in this case.

If you leave on the rear active aero it will still work. Just do the bumper cover and center panel as many have done.

My local dealer gives a W3SI deal on the 99 conversion. It is something like $1829.54 +TAX for the front end parts including lights and supports, but no fog lights.
