If we run out of space I said I'm willing to bump up to give room.

I haven't run 10/10th, but Dan Dillon has. Says they are a good group, and classroom time is a HUGE bonus that I wish we had time for years previous.
My concern is that people won't be allowed to move up from the intermediate group without having run a 10/10ths event previously. I mentioned this to Alan as it could reduce the number of available spots by up to 30%.

Re: Fall General BS Thread!!

They can move up with an instructor signoff, which sometimes doesn't even require a ride-along. Doesn't really matter since they will not be allowed in advanced without a solo signoff or a race license anyways to begin with. I have a BMWCCA and MFBA signoff, but they are pretty flexible as long as there is room in the group about moving people. In MFBA they move cars up and down mid-day on Saturday often to make things run smoother.

Honestly we didn't need any advanced group spots, probably 75% of the 3S group would be placed in Novice for 10/10ths events. They really would like a minimum of 3 instructed track days to run in intermediate. 10/10ths doesn't label their run groups like other track days, so an intermediate in other groups would sometimes run in novice at 10/10ths. It's a consequence of having 3 run groups instead of 4 or 5.

IIRC the NG has 50 spots between novice and intermediate, I wonder how many people ran roadcourse last year.

Alan said we only had 36 roadcoursers last year, so the 55 reserved spots in intermediate and novice should be plenty.

Its been forever since I've been on here.. . I hope you all are doing well!

Unfortunately due to money issues while in college I had to part ways with my car a few years back. Now that I've gotten my feet set a bit more, I hoping to get back into the platform. My wife and I both miss having the 3000gt..
Anyways, I hope you guys have a blast at NG16.

Look at the upside, if you want to get back into the platform you can pick up a turbo car. If you thought an SL was fun just wait.

This is probably a very good point.

And are you seriously going to try to autocross your Howe?

I'll probably be driving someone else's car, the Howe only has 13 degrees of steering angle and a larger turning circle than my truck.

Green VR4 was broken into and everything stolen, so if anyone comes across anybody selling one of those god awful full trunk sub boxes, Pioneer touch screen head unit, or 2 Orion XTRPro DVC 12" subs (very uncommon sub), let me know and I'll handle it.

I like how I heard Liam Neeson's voice in my head as I read this.
