Your best bet is to go on 3si.org if your not already a member. There are countless threads on this conversion. Even an entire room devoted to it if im not mistaken.

Keeping the FWD?

Turbos, Pistons, Rods, Injectors,Piping,intake, Turbo Exhaust manifold (pretty sure), Inter coolers....

i'm sure there is more, But that's is at least 3k right there, before Labor....


Better off Getting a VR4 for 5K

could get the parts used for cheaper but you are still putting into the car more then it will be worth and will still have problems with traction after it is all said and done...

labors no problem cuz im pretty much friends with the whole shop. i cant just go buy a vr4 engine and swap it? then buy anything else i need for the outside of the engine?

Swapping in a turbo motor will take care of the all the engine parts but you still need intake, intercoolers, ecu, harness changes, exhaust, and I believe some fuel part upgrades.

So the short answer is that the motor is just one piece of the puzzle.

ok good cuz im trying to make a street sleeper car so i can make money off the civic and integra kids.

and just asking i found a 6G72TT engine for only $1,400. has anyone found a cheaper one ne wer?
