I just got my new issue of Motor Trend and on the cover is the 2005 Mustang.

Although I am not really a big Mustang guy, I have always loved the look of the Mach I. Well, it looks as though Ford has done it with this baby.

Yes, it's the godforsaken retro look that is starting to flood the market now, but Ford has really put some effort into this one so that it is not too retro. It still invokes the feeling that the Mach I does for me. I am very impressed. I haven't heard of any performance numbers yet nor engine size etc. etc. but I do know that when SVT gets ahold of this, it will definitely be a better car than the current Cobra R.

Good design. I'm not much into Stangs either but the instrument cluster looks good. So does the interior. Performance is the only thing I would need to see now.

I'm sorry, but I think that is really ugly. The interior is well done, I just don't like the body. looks like they are trying to turn it into what they did with the new Thunderbird, I think that's ugly as well.

I like the body style. I think it's better than the last one, but the final verdict will not be until I see more and it grows on me. I liked the PT Cruiser when it first came out :rolleyes: , but throw up at the site of them now. I don't like the inst. cluster.

i love the retro thing some companies are doing. i think this car looks sweet. i love the prowler. i think the cruiser looks ok too. i love things that are different and unique. thats one thing i loved about the stealth.

Prowler gets a thumbs up on looks. Power leaves something to be desired for the price you pay.

I always thought the better looking mustang was that 65 model so this one probably their better looking one since then.

they actually tried to eliminate the mustang.

it's replacement was slated to be the probe. you all know how that turned out.:p
