Is anybody pretty good with hacking a PHP board? I want to add a different template to this board besides the default vBulletin board. Look here and this is the kind of thing that I want to do.

There are some pretty good hacks on that board but I am pretty scared to go into my coding and screw around with it.

Any ideas would be helpful.

from the looks of it, that would be a pain in the ass to do, the racing forum uses template tags and this one is diferent, I'll play around a little though and let you know what I find

Just start fucking with the coding. You only learn things by your mistakes right? If you want, you can hand the site over to me and I will regulate. :p

Ok. I am messing around with some of the coding. Trying to stay safe though and avoid a catastrophic incident here. Let me know if you see anything different.

WOW, SWEEEEET!!!!! The sigs have a nice box around them making it less straining to the eyes! Also, when you post a reply to something it shows up in a box! I knew you could do it, I had faith in you all along...

you want the layout of that other board, or just the colors and whatnot?
I could make a diff template (i think) if you could send me a copy of your template code. my email is Da0x316@hotmail.com send it as a *.txt file attachment or you could host it on this site as a *.txt file

anybody have any ideas to retool the graphic at the top of the page? i think it looks kind of bare up there. if you have any ideas, post them here.
