I'll check back in August to see the tally. I expect to see at least one or two. :p

Our NA love is a 3.5L swap, we don't go much further than that. This is a great swap for the money and straightforward to boot.

What's the hp rating on this swap?

more torque down low is sometimes important then a ton more HP ;)

I know, just more curious I guess at what differences and advantages came with the swap? I have my guesses, but never actually heard results other than with TT's.

they make more HP but not much, the biggest benifit is the big torque increase that comes in a lot sooner, have never had a customer complain about the money they spent on a 3.5 liter swap

Sounds interesting, maybe I'll do one in the future. I've been wanting an NA for a DD
How much for a short block? I'm considering it for my vr4.

still pretty much need a complete engine for the TT's as you want one that has all the brackets and pipes otherwise you will spend a very long time sourcing them

When we organize a dyno day here in STL we should be able to get some comparitive numbers between a normal 6G72 and a 6G74 but that is dependent on the necessary parties participating.
As for performance comparisons I know Eric B's NA Stealth got beat by a 6G74 swap with an SAFC tune at NG09. And Eric bumped up motor compression on his NA to something like 13.5:1.

Don't forget, Eric B's stealth got beat by a 6G74 at NG08 too.... but he was only running 11:1 compression at the time, and the 6G74 was running just the factory ECU, AND WAS AN ATX.
Ask me how I know.

I'm still debating whether i should put in the 3.5L or put in a twin turbo engine....maybe just single turbo the current engine...
