Is it hard to put these in? I just got a set for my car, but have heard that you have to take out your dash to put them in? I have also heard that it just takes an hour.
Anybody know for sure?

No it doesn't take that long and you don't have to take your dash out unless you're doing the three gauges above the center console. You wont have to take out the gages in the main cluster either, just take the holding screws out and place the indi gauges over the top of those and put the screws back in. Just be careful and try not to knock off the needles.

So I guess I have to remove the dash. I am going to replace the 3 gauges in the center also.
Damn, well I guess I can pop my defroster garnishes in there while I am at it.

yeah i'm doin my gauges next weekend. It's a pain. I just finished helping 2 others do it. They of course (like me) wanted to put in the 3 in the center, so off the dash went. and it's not hard, but when your not a pro, and you've only ripped off the dash 1 or 2 x's, it's gonna take all day. So be prepared.

It sucks ass. It took me a full day and i broke my oil pressure gauge. Of course, I didn't figure that out until I had already put the whole damn car back together.

Here's what I have right now. I didn't get the 3 other gauges on the dash cause I'm waiting on the speedhut ones, so I only remove my dash once. In this set also I got the three other pieces in the center cluster, but they don't light up.

Thanks, here's more pics of my car my 3000GT (http://members.cardomain.com/dj_eric_p ) . I lost the original horn button which was red, so I had to replace it with a black one. That's the only one I could get at that time.
