What do you guys think of this car? I have seen two of them already and I think they look pretty neat. One of them with a pretty interesting body kit. Didn't look like one at first until I saw the badging.
I know they will be made pretty fast considering they can now come with a V6. I have heard that next year they will have a turbo option.

Here is the type of body kit that I saw. This is a different car though, the one I saw was silver and it didn't have that wing on it. Looks pretty sporty though.

oh god, i never thought a tib could look that sweeeet. ive liked the new design from the start, they look kinda like supras from a side profile. this is just my personal taste, and i think that black tiburon in the picture looks AWESOME.

Au luck it, ah luck it u lot! Yeah, minus the wing though. It's amoazing these cars come out, and with in a month of the car being on the road, boom! There's one with a body kit, rims, etc... Must be nice!

I think it's a really nice looking car, but how does it perform? I would be worried about it breaking down.

10 years/100,000 mile warranty. I would be worried about nothing.
Not sure of the performance numbers as of yet. I know when they break out that turbocharged 6, it will be a car to reckon with.

It is nice looking, I wish they would've tried stretching out the back a little bit. Kinda reminds me of an eclipse with some supra and some 3s oh and some neon. ;)

Oh ok, I can delete it if you want. It directly corresponds to the point I was making about the Tiburon. I only used the picture as reference to my view of how I felt.

Don't delete it. That's not what I am saying at all. I understand your point, but remember that something like this is NWS. Just think of the other members at work or school, that is all.:)

Mainly work. On the other hand though, you might piss DJ Eric P off. His wife looks just like that. I heard she tried to eat him this weekend for putting his nuts in an ashtray. Don't ask. It happened.

This girl I work with just totalled her Stealth and she's getting a 2003 Tiburon. They're pretty sweet little cars. She either wants that, or a Focus:confused:

I don't think I've seen any. How can they already have body kits for those?
Richy, when you say quick, are you comparing them to your car, or mine :D Later Buddy, got more Richy at work photoshopp'en to do ;)!

I wasn't really comparing it to anything. I have seen them zipping around the freeway though and they "seem" pretty quick.

OK, this is kinda embarassing but I lined up with one the other night, and I think I lost. Uphill slope, just finished raining about an hour ago, him and a friend in an '03 V6 Tib, still got dealer plates, me and my GF in my 95 base. The light goes green and I feather the clutch out, then go @ 3/4 throttle. I am walking away from him ever so slowly, and his front bumper is inches away from my rear @ about 70 mph, when I shut down.
I asked him at the next stoplight how much horsepower his car had, and he said 170. He was really surprised to know I had 222 stock, I think he was only figuring about 200.

If I'm not mistaken it has a mitsu DOHC 6g7# motor, 2.7L. Looks to be smaller bore and stroke, so I wonder if the block is the same overall size. It would be cool to buy a brand new car with a familiar motor. It's oriented the other way, like the new eclipses. This looks to have a lot of potential.

It's a nice looking car. I watched some car magazine on TV and it performed very well. Very good handling.
