The other day i took apart my dash to fix the defrost vents and then i put all that back together. After which i installed the greddy profec b boost controller. I went to start my car and it turned on like usual but then the rpms dropped and it stalled. I tryed to turn it on again and it would only make the starter noise. Well to see if it was the boost controller, i went back to the original hose configuration. But it was still a no go. I wonder if i didn't hook back some thing electrical for the dash that could make it do this. If any body has any ideas, please help me!

I'm not really a turbo guy but you may have a leak somewhere in your vacuum lines. I wish I had a better idea though.

I don't think it has anything to do with the dash if you might of forgotten to plug something in that would affect your dash lights stuff like that. Probably not the starter either unless you have been having that problem for a while now. Did you unplug the Air MAS sensor? If you did make sure thats plugged in and check your battery terminals or check that you have enough juice. Let me know if you got it running again.

I think i may have started it the first time without the anti-theft starter relay grounded. Do you think that could have caused a short circuit or something to make it not start. Either way i'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow. Bastards will charge me like 200-300 dollars to replace a fuse or something stupid.

I'm not sure about the relay do you have an aftermarket alarm also?

What was it after all, did they get it started yet?

The dealer said it has something to do with the electrical stuff for the fuel pump. So i guess the car wasnt getting gas. Which is weird because the injectors were firing when i checked. Have no idea how me taking off my dash could effect the fuel system. But they are taking forever to get it fixed, my car has been there for a week. Personally i think they have already fixed it but are just trying to get more service hours out of the whole thing or they don;t know wtf they are doing. It's probably the later i would assume. haha. So pissed about it taking so long because i usually go to car meets weekly and also cruise daily with a friend of mine who has a 300zx. And the worst thing ever is my backup car (for innsurance purposes) is a white van, ahhhhh!!!

It was probably one little wire that was cut during the whole process and that wire was for the Fuel pump. That sucks.

Finally got my car back after a week or so, the bastards took that long just to start. Yea, it was the MFI harness, i had bent a pin when i connected it back, so the fuel pump got no power. Cost me 350 bucks for them to straighten a pin. And the worst part is they backed the car into something and left a nice paint rip/scratch(about 1 inch by .5 inch) in the back end of my bumper! How exactly do you think i should confront them about this, i didnt notice it til the day after i got it back because the snow and road salt hides things of this nature. Makes me so mad, im only 18 so its not like i can afford to fix stuff like this and i want my car to be in basically perfect condition for a long time. I guess thats why im tuning the car for performance instead of looks because people always destroy beautiful things (open there door into your new paint job and whatnot)...just wanted to let anyone that cares know the story...

Sorry about the scratch. It is always simple.

Maybe you can buff that scratch off. Anyway glad to hear you got your car back no more cruising in the white van!
