I am selling my 1992 Dodge Stealth Turbo.
It has 105500 miles. No problems with it. I bought this car 2 and a half years ago, the old owner sold it because he bought it for his son and his son went off to college. I bought it with 80K miles and just to be safe I did a full 60k service with parts from 3SX, including new water pump, timing belt ect. I also had a dealership change all fluids including trans and rear dif. but the dumbasses used the bearing plug thingy on the side of the transfercase instead of the fill plug so that resulted in a free brand new transfercase. I found out the car has the updated output shaft during this process FYI (dodge/mitsu changed the number of splines on the output shaft in 92). I have been very regular with oil changes and maintance, using Mobile One always. I threw on a 3SX downpipe and gutted the precats. I ran it through inspection after this process and it passed and have no doubt it should pass inspection again when the time comes. I have powerflushed the engine and fuel systems as well as using fuel cleaners every few months. I installed a mbc set at 13.5 psi (just above second gen stock) with an autometer boost gauge installed on the pilar (does not look ricey at all, it blends right in, even my dad likes it). Boost reduction kit with blue tubes gives a nice something to the engine and high quality plugs and wires helps as well. The car came with a K&N filter which I clean regularly and also the last section of the air inlet (that connects to the throttle body) had been replaced with a chrome section. There are no leaks. The only issue is some times the belt squeeks slightly on occassion, easy fix and might possibly have it fixed myself before I sell the car. The previous owner had the car painted blue, although it looked sort of purple so I again had the car painted a nicer blue, I think the color was called Viper Blue. The previous owner also told me he had the Trans rebuilt at some point and the clutch still feels very strong. The active suspension still works perfectly and feels very tight. The brakes have been upgraded to slotted and cross-drilled rotors (Brembo Blanks were used) as well as high quality Axis brake pads. Tires were also recently replaced.
I am selling this car because I need a more convient vehicle for traveling back and forth from New Jersey to Alabama because I currently attend Auburn University. I love this car and I am sure you will to.
This car is available for sale in both Auburn, Al 36830 and Middletown, NJ 07748. I will be in New Jersey from the 18th to the 23rd of November and also aprox December 15th through January 15th. The rest of the time it is available for viewing in Alabama.
Asking price is $10,700 at the moment and is negotiable. I would also appreciate feedback from members of this forum regarding the fairness of this price.
