Transmission Dropo

Today, Richard, Lurker and detpac along with a friend dropped Lurkers AWD transmission. It took 8 hrs to get it out of the car and to the side. This was the first time we have ever done this. We took our time and made sure nothing broke.

In a couple of weeks, we will be getting the clutch in and the new turbos and putting it all back together. We will keep the board posted.

No kidding Ritch even though it was a lot of work I had fun hanging out with you guys and working on the car. I really appreciate you all helping. I wouldn't have taken the project on if I didn't have the backup. Hopefully we can put it all back together again. I will post some pics A.S.A.P!


PS. My fingernails are still a bit dirty so David make sure you scrub them good before you perform a PAP smear. Honda boy is still walking around with too many Dopamines engulfing his membrane talking like Mike Tyson.

Lurker, did the tranny go back in? Is the beast running yet?

Got the tranny up and bolted. Put the trasnfer case and starter back on but need the rest. It should take me around 4 hours to finish but at least the hard part is done. You should see it this weekend!

When you have done this a couple of times and become a professional like myself you know where every bolt goes..................Yeah I lost a couple. J/K Did you doubt me?

No doubts. Did you find the bolts Rich and I threw in your neighbors yard. I think we threw about 6 and were laughing the whole time.:D
