I'm new here and I was just wondering how everyone was running with their NA cars. I've just purchased a 93 Stealth ES and, though much slower than my Eclipse Turbo, runs fairly strong. I just ran the 1/8th in 9.55 seconds @ 75.332 mph. I'm hoping that there are some of you running much quicker and faster than that without resorting to N20. I know you street racers won't tell me what you're running but how about everyone else? One more thing, is it even possible to break into the 13's in the1/4 mile with this car without N20? How about the 12's?

Welcome aboard.
Getting into the 13's without N02 is difficult($$$) but possible. That is currently what I am shooting for. 12's is probably much farther out of reach right now as we don't really have the aftermarket support of the more popular cars on the road.
I have basically the same car as you and I haven't taken it to get an official time yet so I am unsure of what I am running. I did go to this none timing track and ran it. >>>Click here<<< (http://www.us3s.com/freeforum/showthread.php?threadid=585) for a rundown of how I did against what with my current modifications. I plan to head out to the track later this month or in January to get an official time.
Is your ES stock or have you performed some modifications to it already?

I have performed some mods already. The clutch was slipping when I bought the car (probably the reason I picked it up for $3K) so I put in an ACT clutch. While I was there I went ahead and put in a Fidanza flywheel as well. Trying to get rid of as much parasitic loss as possible, I also put on an UR pulley. I put on the K&N filter and did a 2 1/2" exhaust from the O2 housing back into a Magnaflow 3" inlet race muffler. It's loud if nothing else. The car is now somewhat tricky to launch as too much throttle too soon will just smoke the front tire(s). I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to do a turbo conversion or not. That decision will be made after I get the heads fully ported and get the cams reground to a drag race profile. I'm going to have to do something to raise the rev limiter to above 8000 to take advantage of the better heads and cams. I haven't gotten the aftermarket "Y" pipe replacing the stock "T" intersection exhaust pipe yet but I've been told that's worth another 12 horsepower on a stock car and probably worth a lot more once I get the aforementioned mods completed. Once I get those mods performed, I'll decide on the NA route or turbo. If I'm already in the 13's, I'm going to rebuild with a set of 12:1 pistons and Pauter Rods and probably spray a very large dose of N20 to it in an effort to hit the 11's. If the car is still mired in the 14's, I'll have to turbo it. My Eclipse GST has a few mods and it'll run over 90 in the 1/8th on a good pass. It never fails to run over 85 no matter how hot or how badly I drive the car. I want to meet or exceed these perfomance levels with my Stealth. I just hope I have realistic goals as I've got some money to invest in the car but I don't want to have a $25K Stealth that I couldn't get $5K for if I sold it. That's my current status and future plans. I was looking at what you've done to your car and you should be a little quicker and faster than me currently. I'll be anxiously waiting for times and mph's when you go to the track.

One of the guys from AAM has an SL that runs 12.01. I don't think he is running No2, but i could be wrong. I do know that ty from speedfactor runs high 12's low 13's with his super ES.

I haven't timed my 1/4's, but I had an estimated 93 in the quarter. BTW: my PWR/ECO switch is stuck in ECO and my A/C clutch is broken so I lose power there also.

I'm just curious, how did you estimate your 1/4 mile speed?
