why is it that any thread made since the middle of november only has 1 more veiw than reply? is something funky with a counter? or am I seeing something wrong...?

before I posted this it said 3 replies 4 veiws. I've got money on it saying 4 replies 5 views after this...

Maybe because when you submit your thread, you are the first viewer, but don't reply? And once someone has viewed it, they don't count towards the number of viewers again unless a new post has been made? Hell... I don't know....

So, like now... I viewed and replied making it 8 and 9 from Jerg's 7 and 8. I have viewed it 10 more times since then, but it doesn't show up. However, now that I'm posting, it'll reset and allow me to be added to the view total again when it takes me to my new post, resulting in 9 and 10.

So... in conclusion... it seems a reasonable explanation, but it would require that no one who is not posting is viewing the thread. I can't see that happening with all the threads since november.
So... I must be full of shit. And if you ask my wife, she'll confirm this for you.
