Not sure if they make them or anything like it but I currently have my head unit at the top of the din slot. I have the big one so there is no separator in the center. I was wondering if they make something that can utilize the space underneath the head unit? All that is there right now is plastic but do they make like a pocket of some sort? Something I can put a pack of smokes, my wallet and other trinkets in?

Best Buy or a car audio shop should have something like that. I know they do to fill a single DIN opening, but since you have the big opening you might have to get another trim piece to fill in some gap. Otherwise contact smokinvr-4 on 3si. He makes custom complete trim plates & could work something like that in I'm sure.

Yeah, Best Buy carries them. The one I got from them puts the HU up top (so you can still mess with the radio when you're in third gear) and has little plastic 'shelves' extending a few cms from the sides so you can store CDs there.
