Questions re: a GTP

Anybody have any experience with these? They have been looking pretty appealing to me for a while and supercharged to boot. Pretty inexpensive also.

A friend of mine bought one. They are a great buy for the money, but they lack power. Its got a 3.8 and a supercharger and has only 240hp? Sounds a bit weak, but it prolly wasnt made to go super fast.

Other then the lack of power, it was a sound car. Till the suspension got soft, but I hear thats a common problem.

Thanks. There is a guy at my work with a '99 GTP. His is stock and he says that they are very limited to what you can do for them. Mainly pulleys but you can't really get to crazy.

I rode in a stock one, and was pretty impressed. it too was a 99, and was quick. It even had more/cooler features than my SS had (99) which pissed me off.
