Hey every1 I am looking for a new clutch kit for my Stealth 93 N/A to replace the old stock one. Can you suggest me the best clutch out there? Im willing to pay up to 400. Is there anything both really smooth and quick shift for that money?

Not for 400 (we're talking just purchase price, right). I don't even think you can get an OEM for that. Raise the bar to $500, and you can get things along the lines of RPS Stage 2, which is one of the grabbier, streetable clutches out there.

Ummm, call me nutz, (Okay, don't call me nutz :laughard: ) but why not stick with OEM if your car isn't that modded? It's worked pretty well for me at BPU+ 1/2...? Just throwing that out there. Especially if you like the feel, and don't want the pedal pressure to be any heavier...

First, let me say I really like the guys over at 3SX, they are a hell of a bunch of guys, and they have recieved a fair amount of my money spent on rebuilds :D, that said, I had the SPEC Stage 3 - 4 puck clutch on the N/A with a fidanza light weight flywheel.
1) It has more holding power than you will EVER freakin' need with the N/A
2) It bites, and bites HARD.
3) I have yet to find ANYONE in the Chicago area who DOESN'T hate my clutch (PM Damon if you don't believe me).
Given this information, if you need the holding power, ie. turbo install, get it, if you DON'T need the holding power, go with a SPEC Stage 2, or a SBC DXD.
Avoid RPS like the freakin' plague. The only things guaranteed about an RPS clutch is that in addition to the privelige of being a beta testor for them (it seems they relish using your failures to help them build a better product, personally, I would prefer they perfect the product BEFORE I buy it), you WILL get the Popeye leg (Your left calf will be an inch or more larger than your right - You laugh, but I have SEEN it with my own eyes!)

Stock is fine as well but I'd go with a SPEC. 3SX sells them as well.

ACT clutch stage 1 for 400. It's the strongest clutch for the least amount of money. I have one in my stealth and I never miss a gear, I back that up with a short shifter from 3sx performance and I can squawk my tires in all 5 gears.
Go to www.advancedclutch.com for clutches and 3sxperformance.com for short shifters.
Let me know what you think?

Stock clutches aren't that expensive. Especially thru dealerships that offer club discounts.

but the leather wrap around your shifter says you have clutch envy.
