My car (1992 Mitsi GTO AWD non-turbo 3000V6) has finally run out of camber adjustment on the rear.
Tyre wear & appearance suffer.
I have noticed many GTO's/Stealth's with obviously the same problem - easy to spot, wheel splayed out at rear even when only single occupant.
The specialist alignment shops I have consulted do not apparently know what causes the adjustment to "run out".
Can see no damage, wear, or obvious distortion, in the rear suspension members.
I am aware that fully adjustable replacement upper contol arms are available as specials & are generally fitted when suspensions are lowered.
But what causes this problem & surely it should be fixable without expensive specialist replacemnt parts.
Any comment/explanation greatly welcomed.
