I have a burgundy 3000gt SL with a low mile engine for sale. Car runs perfect. It hasnt had its 60k mile tune-up b/c the engine only has 24k miles on it. The only problems are the roof and the left quarter panel could use soem more clear coat or maybe even only a good buff. There are various random dings on the car from age. The driver's and passenger's side leather seats need some TLC. Back seats are perfect. Black interior with tan seats and carpet. Maybe consider a trade, depends on what you are offering. If you want

91 SL isn't going to pull in $5k considering you can buy a 91 tt for that much.

jday51 on here bought his for around $5500.00 and his is a 92 tt...
all you have to do is look around...not hard to find.
check out kbb.com...they list a 91 Stealth TT with 70k miles in good condition for $4725.00.

With an engine with only 24k miles on it, I do not see anything wrong with that price range.

I agree with the sentiment that that is going to be a tough sell, getting $5,000... If you can, more power to you, but I think you are going to have a rough time.

a car with 24k miles that will get it's ass stomped by a car with 70k miles. who cares if it only has 24k miles? I was saying someone looking for a performance car is not going to pay that for a car that does not perfom as well as one that they can get for the same price. the car has paint problems...that is going to stand out more than the motor only having 24k and doesn't have the HP a TT with good paint will have...;)

kbb also quoted my vr-4 at 10k. don't quote KBB value unless you're talking about a honda.

Heck, I bought SLT, a 93 SL in Great shape last year for $2500.
For $5K you can easily buy a running TT.
