I thought I'd just share my plans for my car with your guys..

Well.. my car is sitting in the bodyshop awaiting a new driver's side sideskirt and door cap. I decided to take this as an opportunity to get rid of the dreaded base / ES stripe:D

I'm planning on 1st gen RT sideskirts and doorcaps. I was going to do an entire RT conversion but I am really partial to the ES tail lights. Sooo.. I guess I'm going to get a RT rear bumper cover and do a little work to it. HOPEFULLY I'll make it fit with the ES tail light assembly. I should just have to trim a little bit off the top but I am worried that there's more to it. But hey.. that's what a bodyshop's for. PitRoad M is my first choice for the front bumper cover but I may go with Bomex depending upon how much money I spend on the rest of it.

I'm still undecided about what I should do in regards to the paint. My car is currently black. Black paint is a pain in the ass to keep looking clean and EVERY dent and ding shows up. I was thinking about a nice silver color. Any opinions? I'm going to have the entire car repainted either way, just need to decide if I'm going to stay with black. Is changing the color going to make it a lot more expensive? Gimme your thoughts!

The pitroad front is pretty nice but I think the bomex looks more aggressive. That is my personal favorite.

i am painting mine black currently and they will also be painting that strip the same color. I know it's a pita but i have been dying for the black for quite a while now.

I'm going to be painting my car in the near future. I have been pulled by yellow(but do not think it looks good on thie type of car), purple (wifes favorite color, but not my favorite choice), black (hard to keep clean), silver or gunmetal grey. I am thinking about the gunmetal more and more.

Richard, how is the paint coming?

mmmm, gunmetal....I like. Is that kind of like the stock sandstone color? The rim in my avatar is gunmetal black. :D

Sort of. I have seen 2 eclipses with this color and it looks great. The rims that are called HYPERSILVER color is the closest I have found to this color. That is what i'm looking for.

That is a pretty nice color. My current wheels are gunmetal. They look brighter in the day but look virtually black at night.

92ES, that rim in your avatar looks more silver than gunmetal.
Here are my wheels. They look more gunmetal in my opinion but it just may be the lighting.

The Enkei's in my avatar are actually 'Hyper Black', not gunmetal.

I can tell it more the lighting now. My rims are on a dark background while yours are on a white. Do you have those wheels or are you getting them?

Well, if nothing catches my eye in the next 2 years, these will be mine. That's how long I estimate me having my present Yoko AVS db tires and also how long it will take me to save for 4 Enkei's at $399 each and 4 Michelins. That's about $3000, in addition to other mods I want to get like springs, strut tower bar, UDP, test pipe, you know, all the NA ATX stuff. ;) Or maybe I'll just put that 3K towards getting a TT. :D
