Why did Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth discontinue producing the Talon, Laser, and Stealth?
I know the concencus is that sales were lagging but I still seem too see just as many Talons/Lasers on the road as I do Eclipses. Well, not just as many, but the Talons are all over the place.
Why didn't Chrysler market them better here in the US? IMO, I think the Talon looks 10x better than the Eclipse, same with the Stealth over the 3KGT.
The Laser doesn't really do it for me but then the issue with that model I believe was the price point being lower than it's counterparts.
Not sure about the details here either but this bailout by Chrysler didn't seem to happen to the Starion/Conquest line. Those both discontinued in the same year, 1989. Why wasn't there a lag between the pullout on the Conquest first and a redesign for the Starion?
