I have uploaded all my vac reduction diagrams so people can do the reduction using my methods.
First, you will need to download and install this DWG viewer (http://www.m-spec.net/downloads/dwfviewer.exe)
Once you have it installed, the following files should open in your web browser. If not, download them to your PC and then use the viewer to open them from your hard drive.
Each of the following have diagrams for using egr blockoffs, and disabling the egr valve
OEM Boost setup (http://www.m-spec.net/vacreductions/VRK1.dwg)
4mm MBC (http://www.m-spec.net/vacreductions/VRK2.dwg)
6mm MBC (http://www.m-spec.net/vacreductions/VRK3.dwg)
Blitz DSBC (http://www.m-spec.net/vacreductions/VRK4.dwg)
HKS EVC (http://www.m-spec.net/vacreductions/VRK5.dwg)
APEXI AVCR or Greddy Profec E-01 (http://www.m-spec.net/vacreductions/VRK6.dwg)
Greddy Profec B-II (http://www.m-spec.net/vacreductions/VRK7.dwg)
If you have 4 vac pipes running from front to rear of motor, disregard the hose routing on the actual diagram for that portion, and instead, follow this diagram (http://www.m-spec.net/vacreductions/4pipes.dwg)
I still have plenty of red and black hose for now if you need some.
Jack
Edit: M-Spec has complete kits forsale.

O/T a bit perhaps, but what do you suppose would be the result of taking the line from the y-pipe(to the ebc) and plugging it into one of the nipples on the TB?
i keep staring at it, and it seems there should be no diff when the throttle plate is opened (i.e. when the ebc functions), yet my ebc seems to not be working...

M-Spec the links to these files are dead, which is understandable since you switched domain names.
May I rehost these files or do you want me to close the thread. Should I make the files members only?
BTW: Threads in the FAQ can now be replied to. This is what Rich wanted but it isn't what we have had since 3.0.3 update.

I uploaded them to my new domain.
The new address is...............how do i explain this.................on the post above, all the files are at;
www.m-spec.net/vacreductions/bla bla
replace "www.m-spec.net/" with "www.lvsolutions.net/mpec/"
In other words, the VRK1 used to be at......
www.m-spec.net/vacreductions/vrk1.dwg
It is now at.......
www.lvsolutions.net/mspec/vacreductions/vrk1.dwg
Same goes for everything else i ever had links to.......
replace "www.m-spec.net/" with "www.lvsolutions.net/mspec/"

Well, i was looking at my vacume and boost hoses and they seem to just be old and they look dry rotted at the ends, so i was just going to replace them. While i was searching what size hoses and how much of it i would need, i came across this vac reduction thing. I think it would look nicer since i need to replace the hoses anyway. i just dont know if has any proformance points to it or if it is just cosmedic. Also should i add a MBC and BOV befor i do it? Or can you run it on all stock stuff. I will eventually be adding a BOV and i would actually like a EBC but a MBC will work for now. just lookin for advice.

you can still run the stock boost controller on a vacuum line reduction. or go with a Manual boost controller.
Most of the vacuum lines are for emissions.

If someone wants to send me these diagrams again, I'll host them so that we all can benefit from this again. email zumchikara@gmail.com

so i will not see anytype of proformance out of it?

probably not, but it will clean up the engine bay, make the car easier to work on, and if you had a bunch of vacuum leaks, your car will run better/possible performance gain.

I definitely loved how cleaner the engine bay looked after I did this. There's to much fluff under the hood that can go.

You will need at least some hose and some caps, and depending on what you are eleminating you might need different t-fittings.
