heys guys, I've noticed on all the 3000s I've looked at the projection lenses looked horrible- the were foggy and had moisture in them-
Is this a "normal" problem with the lights or is it someting else?

Ditto. I have noticed the same thing quite a bit also.

you think its a mitsu screw up or maybe they were in an accident and not put back in properly?
Do the Stealths have the same problem?

I haven't seen it on the Stealths. I guess it's just another reason why the Stealth owns the 3000GT.:D

Can't they be removed pretty easily and then just wiped out?

I was wondering the same thing, so i took out my headlights. The clear cover is glued on, so if you took it off to clean, you'd have to glue it back in place. Thats the only way i know of to clean them, but i could be wrong. maybe someone else knows an easier way.

Can you remove the light from the back and let it air dry?

My lights are like that right now also, one is blown. I have 2 sets of new fog lights, but the screws are stripped out and i can't get them out. I would drill them out but i don't know where to get replacement screws, if i need to order them or if home depot carries them in stock.

did it :D worked great looks sooo much better. the deposits that were on the inside were hard and took some time to clean away. one thing i think i could of did better was to have some extra of that black silicone or whatever it is, and used it to make sure the two halves are completely sealed.

i was starting to get some condensation in one of the headlights so i took it out and cooked it again and cleaned and put it back together and then chipped a tiny piece of class where the two halves come together. its a very small hole but water gets in there easily now. is there anything i can do to fix this without changing the whole expensive thing? even if its a temporary fix.

I took mine apart too. Also chipped a tiny piece of glass. I just used weather strip glue. Its this black sticky stuff...looks like what was on there originally. Can you just fill up the small chip with the black silicone sealant you were using? Thats what I would do for a temporary fix.

ya thats what i did, but now theres condensation in there again the next day. im hoping that the black sealant glue i used just needed time to set. ill let it air out in a few days when i get the chance and hopefully it will stay dry from then on. cause im really not looking forward to buying a new lamp. so friken expensive.

Ever since I took them apart, every once in a while when I wash my car the passenger side lamp gets condensation inside. It always clears up afterwards, so thats good. I just hope it doesn't get dirty inside again.

well today the car was washed and I have noticed that the stealh does it also i think it just is caused in teh winted weather not in the summer kjust cause of the cold factor... which ofcourse is obvious
