It doesn't do much yet but it could represent the quality of the poster if people don't abuse by using it falsely. I might disable it if it starts to look bad.

Green Points are positive.
Red Points are negative.

And, yes, I know I win alot of arcade games, but how many is really too many?

I think a red one should require a comment or it should be deleted.

I think only Mods and admins can read the comments.

Your reputation is higher than 10 which is what everyone starts at.

I can read the comments. Thus why I posted about the comment that was left about the arcade.

Then you can't read who left the comments.

I can see the comments left, but not the member who left them. Also, I have the one without a comment.

It lists green or red, the thread, date/time, and comment.

Personally I think coments should be required and the user receiving the comment should be able to see who left the comment.

I plan to modify(or find on vb.org) the code to make it work that way before its enabled on 3si.

Reporting for admins is a pain too.

When someone leaves Rep points to you you will see it in your userCP. You leave them by clicking the little scale icon under someones name. You leave it when you think someone has done good, or done bad with a post.

look what I got for trying to be helpfull

take your advice back to 3si...you can't and won't admin here...your suggestions aren't welcome

FYI, I have no desire to admin here. I am a vbb forum admin so I thought the admins might be interested in comments from someone that has looked at these tools.

All I want is to post helpful info, hell I could keep everything secret, break records and tell everyone too bad, It's my build and I am not going to share shit. But I don't. I want everyone to benefit from whatever I find along the way no matter how small. Because sometimes it's the details that F a project up. What happens? Assholes shit on my posts cause I post too much. Cuase I share every little detail I run into.

Thanks I get for helping. Like I get 10 cents for every post I make or something. It takes time out of my day and I get no reward...Just F'd. Hell I "Used" to do 10K post givewway, 15K post giveaway. F that anymore...

the admins here are doing a fine job. the board runs a million times smoother than 3si and does not have NEAR the problems that 3si does. maybe you should concentrate your advice to your own board and fix it instead of lurking around here waiting for someone to mention your name.

i hope everyone realizes that 99% of any flame wars or arguments on us3s revolve around 3si. does this not say something?

damn Alan...sweep your own back porch before worrying about us3s' back porch. our admins are doing a great job and the board is running great. you giving advice on admin'ing a board is like me taking my car to a mechanic who doesn't have a running car.

IPO dont get worked up now. We love you here and it sucks what happens over there but im sure there are 1000's of people that appreciate what you do for them (US) as a community that dont let you know so.

going on two weeks after I asked Eric at 3si to change my banner. Still nothing, no reply, no change...Guess I got my money's worth huh? He was quick to email me daily reminders that it expired so Pay Up. But now he has my money adn I can't get him to do the simpest thing.

Here, not so much, within an hour Eric here changed what I needed. :whoa:

i love this place.

i have 1 green and 1 red, both from the same thread, all i did was say that i would appreciate paypal, whats so bad about that? HUH!?!

i think comments should be mandatory, users should be annonamys (except to admins) and a straight out attack on someone should deserve a negative rep to that person.

I agree. Only admins should be able to see who left the comments (to prevent fighting and hurt feelings) and that a neg should have to have a reason why (preferably one that actually is valid).

I like to be able to see my comments; just not the user who left them. Also, ALL rep points shuld have to have a reason, valid or not, or they should not be able to be submitted..

It has been turned off because it has little value at this time. In the future it may have improvements. 3SI did the same thing. C'est la vie.
