ok, mine is almost officially trashed, again, recommendations for a BPU car? Looking at SPEC stage 1, or 2 if it lasts, RPS stage 1. Southbend maybe, if lasts and competitive pricing. Im broke so need something that wont take a crap on me after 30K. DJauggie, you've been through clutch hell, help me! If it helps I dont launch my car but maybe once a month, cuz its not easy to launch like the STi i drove.

With a leaky trans, I can not comment on any clutch because the tranny might have caused them all.
I am going with SPEC stage 2. If I was you, I'd go SPEC or RPX MAX w/ STREET DISC. Anything with a FULL faced and enough holding power should be good.
I never recommend 6PUCK unless STREET DISC won't hold it, or a big big strip/drag car, or not a daily driver.

I'm thinking the SPEC 1 or 2, is there a reason I should NOT go with the kevlar fullface disk(stage 2)? It says chatter-free, and kevlar usually has a "softer" engagement but resists overheating. I'm assuming that the pedal pressure wont be different between the two and this is my daily-driver and i'd rather go slightly overkill if it means my clutch will take a little bit of a beating and last for a couple of years, so far all the vehicals i owned the clutches lasted well over 100K, so Im not a hard driver, but this is the smallest chutch i have, the f-150 i tow with has a 10.5 or 11 inch, not exactly sure, and the shadow had a 10 inch i dont remember (overkill, eh?), but it held through ABUSE for 130K, and nitrous, i sure didn't tell the new owner that little tidbit. So 1 or 2 for my everyday car?

I went Stage 2 instead of Stage 3 because PUCKED clutches have a much shorter life span.
