Does anyone have the Knight S/C kit? What kind of power gains did you get? Does anyone have this kit w/ 8:1 forged pistons? I plan on putting these pistons in my car before/when I supercharge it.

Check with Super C on 3si. He has it.

did you check on this? What does an SC go for on the SOHC's?

I can't remember the exact price because I don't have the e-mail I got from them anymore...but i think its around 4000-4500 dollars. E-mail TKTurbo@bellsouth.net, they are usually quick with their responses. Every response I got was same day.

 dayum, that is really pricey. Anybody know how much boost you can put into an SOHC with stock internals?

Knight Turbos says about 6 psi is the maximum safe boost you can run without upgrading internals (which they also sell Ross Forged Pistons).

So considering that 1 psi will equate out to 10hp, you are only going to be running at 227hp(stock) to the crank? That puts you in the same area then as a stock DOHC.

Yeah, that's why I decided if I even keep my car, that I'll just by a DOHC engine/ecu/tranny/harness and put it in, It'll probably be cheaper than the S/C kit. I can probably find all of the above for about 1,000 dollars less than the S/C kit.
