Snake Eye Lense Removal

With out a whole lot of success on 3SI asking this question, I thought I would post it here.
Has anyone taken out the snake eye lenses? If so, does anyone have any ideas of how I can make the brackets that the lenses connect to, pretty.

The car looks real tough from about 6ft+ but any closer, you can look down and see the snake eye brackets, and they aren't the prettiest look'en things. Thanks!

Sorry Sean. I haven't done this mod. It does look sweet though. Have you tried fabricating some type of plastic tray that could be installed just below? Something small enough that would fit.

u talking about the groove that the lens sits in? u could try using bodyfiller or bondo to smooth it out. or even silicon. :)

Thanks for the replies. I'm not on any of the boards at night :( No net access at the new house yet...

I thought about body filler, but that is a little to, non-reversable. Painting would be better than it is now, but the lip and bracket being there would still look like something is missing from the car.

I was thinking a could match some leather up with the bra, then sew it, wrapping it down into that space. Not sure yet... Thanks for the ideas;)

I didn't end up doing anything. Just left them. Lenses are still out.
