I just received my Ultimate Performance strut bars yesterday and I have to say, sahweeeet. These bars are very nicely constructed and come with all of the necessary hardware. They are a lot beefier than the previous model they made. I haven't installed them yet as I am in process of painting them. Should be on today though. I got mine through 3SX Performance (http://www.3sxperformance.com/suspension.asp) but you can also get them from Ultimate Performance (http://www.ultimateperformance.freehosting.net ) directly.

Can't wait to put them on. I will keep you posted.

I haven't installed them yet. To my zip code, they were a little over $300 for both.

I believe they are pretty easy though. Just bolt on to your existing towers.

I installed them Friday. Took me about an hour to get both of them in. Very easy. The only problems I encountered were
A) Once you place the rear strut bars in, the plastic cover that blocks the space can not be replaced. I am thinking about cutting the cover at least to have something there and for it to fit over the bar.
B) On the front strut bar, the angle of the bar is sufficient to provide clearance over the plenum but the angle of the bend is not sharp enough to clear the battery. Currently, the bolts are poking my battery. I will probably need to place a piece of sheet metal there in order to preserve it.

Other than that, OMFG. These things make all of the difference in the world. I absolutely never realized how much better your car could handle with these.

There is a 40 MPH curve that I would never take over 60 MPH. I was always nervous and the car didn't feel very stable at anything over 60. I hit that curve at about 75 and accelerated through it till I hit 90. My car never shook or felt as if it would slide. Very solid corner. I am totally impressed. You can actually feel the difference. I am totally sold.

Any car I get in the future will most assuredly be provided with strut bars. AWESOME!!

You can see where the end attaches at. I had to cut out the cover a bit to accomodate it though. No biggy.

I bought the solid front one directly from Ultimate Performance, and it works really well! However installation was a bitch! As it was delivered, there was no way that I'd be able to shut my hood. I ended up having to use a mallet/sledgehammer on the passenger side. That allowed it to close, but the hood still had a large bulge on the driver's side. I fixed that by grinding down the bracket that mounts to the struts, taking about half an inch of metal off of it. It took the better part of a day to install, but once done, it's great.

FWIW.
