Hey you all it's been quite a while...well winter anyways. I was about to get started on some basic BPU stuff and I saw DJ Auggie mention this in another post "LS6 MAS/MAF-T combo"
What exactly are the parts that make up this combo (sorry I am accronymed challenged), where can I get this combo and what would be a good price?
How much better would this be over just an aircharger?

Thanks in advanced,
James

i got mine from http://www.driven-performance.com/ for 370 shipped....but that was when they were doing a sale. they're now at 380 plus shipping. still cheaper than the original 410 price. the kit is the ls6 maf, the maft, and two wiring harnesses. one harness connects to the ls6 maf and goes into another harness that connects to the maft. this is because the maft was originally made for the ls1 maf and they changed the ls6 maf pins (hence the need for a second harness).

the reason it's better than just the fipk is that the fipk retains the stock maf which is a big restriction in the intake side. the ls1/6 maf is pretty much a hole with a few bars. this makes for a much higher free flowing intake system.

the maft can also correct for injector size. it gives you limited tuning abilities. it's a nice feature since u can fine tune with a piggy back if you wanted.

That's where I got mine.

You can do the following:

LS1/LS6 MAS
LS1/LS6 MAF-T for the 3/S (3SI TurboBob makes it)
LS6 Adapter (For LS6 ONLY)
K&N Filter to fit the mas
