I know they don't make them for VR4's. You have to get them polished.

I believe there are headers available for the SOHC, but not for the DOHC at this time. Try www.rpw.com.au

OK i called Phantom Racing which is RPW's MAster dealer in the US and talked to a guy adn asked him about SOHC 12v Headers and he said they dont make them but also said they could make them if we had 10 buyers, he didnt give me a Concrete Price but he said ruffley $375. They currently make SOHC 12v headers but for the montero sport it is the same engine but is mounted diferent and he wasent sure if they would just bolt right onto our car. IM not sure if we can get 10 people to get these headers made. Any Suggestions? Any other web sites any one might know?

If you are taking a count, I would also be interested in the RPW headers for a '91 Stealth RT DOHC. From the info on their web site, it appears that what they make should be pretty close or might not take much to fit our cars.
FYI, also I've been talking with "Corsa Performance" RE a catback system for our cars. It was indicated that our cars would be targeted in about 6 months. The technology they use (Reflective sound cancellation) lives up to the "stealth" performance and image.

Wow Theonlypheonix, that sounds like great info. We should definitely keep up with this one.
Are they able to custom make a header set for our cars currently or is that also in the works in 6 months.

Corsa Perforance is into Cat back systems, when I spoke to their rep they indicated that they have limited bandwidth and are selective in choosing the projects. They acknowledged being in the heart of the 3SI activity, are aware of the Stealth/Mitisu 3000GT groups and have had other inquiries for cat back systems for these cars. I spoke with Steve at 3SX performance and he indicated that he would try to help if Corsa would only deal with distributors. As far as the headers, it looks as though the best potential is RPW at this time. Any additional word from Stealthy_C on this???
Currently I have the performance down pipe from 3SX Performance and a Random Tech high flow cat with stock resonator and muffler. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! This combo made noticable performance improvement with out loss of low end torque, just wants to keep on pulling all the way to 7k rpm. Also improves on the tone of the exhaust. The engine still feels choked which is why I'm investigating a cat back system and maybe headers if they are reasonable priced.

Any new developments regarding these headers?

Let's not let this die. If we're ever going to get some real performance out of the NA engine without spraying a ton of N20, we're going to need headers. What's the latest development? I REALLY don't want to have to turbo this car just to keep up with my Eclipse.

there are three companys that claim to be working on
headers for the Na cars but it looks like its going to be next year soometime before we see anything.

I just spoke with Al at XERD and they have a prototype set of header for our cars ready for testing. Currently they need a doner car to put them on for dyno testing. They are hoping for 30+ fwhp gains with no other mods. I would take my car to them but they are in Westlake Village, CA and I live about as far from them as you can get and still be in the US. They are awaiting a call from someone willing to let their car be the test vehicle and are willing so sell the headers to that lucky individual REALLY cheap. Someone please call them @ (818) 347-9060 and let's get this thing going. I really want a set of headers and the sooner he can get a car for testing, the sooner he can release them to the general public. Thanks to everyone that responds to this.

I would take it to them but I don't have a FWD.
