Hello all:
After owning a 1991 3000GT SL for 2.5 years I finally decided to upgrade. I just purchased a 1995 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo, Firestorm Red, with 79K miles for $9K. I like the fact very few were produced (365 US cars made for 1995, 83 of them red). I'm still learning how to drive it to its limits...it's going to take some time.

Congrats and good price. It's a shame that you can get that car so cheap. But, good for you :D

Welcome aboard and what a nice deal on that ride. Sounds like it's gonna be a beauty for you.

I love the fact that you can get the Stealth cheaper than the VR-4, despite the fact that they are the same car. Most people think it's a Dodge, so it's American....perhaps that's why the resale difference. While I love the looks of both cars, the Stealths cleaner look is better for me. I also like the fact that AWS was not available for my car.

You are the second person who has mentioned that they don't like the AWS. Why is that? I think it's a great feature and add's to the 3S's claim as the most technogically advanced Japanese supercar of the 90's.
I remember when I was selling my car and I took it to this import car lot. They said they only sell imports and not American cars. I showed them the Mitsu tag on the inside and explained to them it was a Japanese import built in Nagoya, Japan but they wouldn't budge.

Upon doing a lot of research on the cars I had read several reviews pointing out that the 4WS system could be a major pain in the butt. Honestly, I don't think it's needed on the car, and one less thing that can break. The material I was reading may have been overblown...I wouldn't know.
