I own a 1992 3000GT VR-4 that is basiclly stock. The modifications it has are Stillen Cross Drilled Rotors, Metal Matrix Pads, Goodridge SS lines, K&N FIPK, free boost restrictor mod, and a cutout exhaust that exits before the main cat.

I used to have a custom stereo with an Alpine AiNet CD player, two SoundStream Amps, steering remote adapter, (4) 6.5" MB Quart Q Series, (2) 5.25" MB Quart Q Series, and (2) SoundStream SPL10's. It sounded great but my hearing was being killed by the loudness so I went back to a stock setup. The Alpine HU was glitching when it got hot too.

I found this site though a sig on 3si.org. I joined 3si early 2001 but trolls hounded me so I left and came back in 2003 under a different username. I am sick of the BS and slow speed of 3si's forums so I don't go there much anymore.

Wisconsin has a local chapter with forums that are friendly but not many people are online often. www.w3si.org

When I saw this forum with its speed and quality I had to join. It is everything 3si should have been.

Thanks,

Joe

Welcome. Where in Wisconsin are you from? I got a couple buddies in Madison.

I live in the Greater Milwaukee Area, the City of West Allis to be specific. It is about a 90 minute drive to Chicago or Madison.

If your buddies in Madison came to the first gathering of W3SI, I might have their picture here - http://www.fleischfresser.com/w3si/

To join up is it $14.42 to teamus3s@yahoo.com. I thought that there were no PayPal fees if you use a checking account to send money instead of a Credit Card.

No, sorry I didn't specify they are not 3Sers. Just a couple of party animals that go to the University of Wisconsin.

I double checked with PayPal and the fee applies to a receiver with Premier Status, only personal accounts can recieve money for free. The fee varies based on how much business the account holder does. I sent $14.42 and if the amount is wrong I guess I'll get the amount refused and a new invoice.
