Well, I will get right down to the problem. I had my friend put my car on a analizer and basically it was saying that the front bank was fine but the rear bank wasnt putting out near as much power. My first thought was that the timing was off but I have reset the timing 3 times and everytime it was fine, everything else checked out fine except that cyln. 1 and 4 kind of week on spark, no big deal, coils may be goin.

So, I checked the timing again and all marks line up. Also what lead me to think that the timing is fine is that the car runs fine, idles smooth, doesnt burn a considerable amount of oil, if any at all, and decent gas milage. I am going to do a compression test soon but I havent gotten around to it yet. One thing that worries me is that when I have been setting the timing, the third cam seems much easier to turn than all the rest, like it doesnt snap as much when u are turning it, cant remeber if the 4th cam is like that too but i dunno.

Now I got to thinking that maybe one of my lifters collapsed but if that happend then it would come out and reallllyyy mess something up so then I got to thinking that maybe that one of my valve springs has lost its tension and isnt closing the valve all of the way but I cant tell.

Now the history behind my car. It sat at my uncles house for two years and never was crunk or turned over because the water pump was going bad. I think that may have cause one of the valves to stick open if some carbon was to build up over time of it sitting there. Since then I have fixed everything and it runs great, just doesnt perform like it should.

My reason for thinking there is a problem is that when I went to the strip I ran a 15.6 and a 15.5 and I have (had) cat back and intake. I know that I am not a bad enough driver to get that slow of a time with those mods when I should be getting around a 15 or so. I dunno........................

I just cant figure out what could be wrong, any ideas?

Um. Check the compression? See how healthy the cylinders are.

Collapsed lifter and the car would run like absolute shit.

Yeah, I plan on doing a compression test on wednesday so I will post on what I found out. And I ruled the lifter problem out because I knew that, that would happen so I was back to square one...

ECU, Compression, Coils

Make sure all are fine.

Is there any ticking?

No, there is the normal lifter tick every now and again but nothin like valves or anything. The ECU was just rebuilt so it is fine and one of the coil packs are new. I will check compression tomorrow, man, I really hope its not that. But what would explain the third cam being able to turn easier than the rest?

Bearings loose, lifters loose/damaged

Um, I'm totally new to this whole Dodge thing, but I'd replace the sparkplugs because the rear cylinders run a little hotter due to the lower amount of cooler air in relation to the front cylinders. Maybe the rear olugs are starting to get fouled a little bit. Then again maybe I'll just shut up.
