My personal best is right around 130, depending on how accurate the stock Speedo is in a Stealth.

I've had my Probe to the "P" in MPH, and boy was that a ghost ride... (I think that's about 65 mph in real car speeds)

145MPH in my 3000GT BASE
~150MPH with much room to go in the VR-4.

120MPH in my gf's Elantra GLS :)

220 in an old big block camero

~160 in my VR4. Speedo inaccuracies.

I've seen north of 160 in my 92TT. Because the speedo is way off this was probably less than 150 though. I saw 155 in my Vette also, according to the speedo that is. For some crazy reason, I don't feel as comfortable going for high speed runs in a car as I do on a bike. I know it's supposed to be the other way around. Maybe it's because the bike accelerates to speed so much quicker.

Just one question I dont wanna sound like a dick or anything, but dont the stealths and 3000 have governors? If so what do I need to do to get rid of it?

I don't think 5,750 is 120 in a 2nd gen TT.

I max out 3rd @ 112-114, 120 comes right around 5K or right after. It's close but are you sure on that?

I broke 110 mph, right past a cop going the other way, I was on my way to the Vegas Speedway, either he/she didn't notice me or just didn't give a damn!!!

I hit 210 in my Supra... I was in the car when an ex blew a tire on her miata at 100... That really sucked ass!

yeah that sucks. at least its your ex right? my friend forgot to tighten some lug nuts on MY xt6 then drove it out and the front left wheel flew off at about 90. one of many reasons i no longer own an xt6. not bad for a 145hp NA coupe to top out at 150.

heres the main reason:

I assume an xt6 was another SVX?

And yeah, for a 145hp car to be doing 150 is just plain amazing! Must have had torque like nobody's business or been lighter than a lawnmower... (JK)

BS. Shall I be the first? :)

Aftermarket speedo? GPS? What mods you got to get to 210MPH? :)

It was an aftermarket speedo that was prety damn well on by all of those "this is your speed" displays when I lived in DC.

Mods:

Twin stage 3 Turbos running at 2bar if I remember correct
Stillen Cold Air forced intake
Aftermarket injectors (forget brand and CC)
High preassure fuel pump with almost double flow as well (again forget manu and exact #'s)
Cams
Lifters
ported and polished
oversized intercooler w/ dedicated fan
oversized quad-pass radiator
custom-fab's exhaust piping running of full-sized exhaust headers. The cat was a borla if I remember correct and the muffler was a stillen
better suspension / awd
(forget what brand) 7-speed manual transmission
ARX (I think it was ARX... Something RX for sure) ECU
Racing fuel... :-P

It was a guzzler, but it moved like nothing and it still cornered very nicely.

Feel free to disbelieve me all you want - it's not like I care.

edit - I forget if there is anything else.

Hah. No offense. A friend of mine has a 10 second T-78 Supra and knows the platform pretty good. If you have a 210MPH Supra, then you probably have quite a bit of mods and would know some of the brand names that cost you a pretty penny.

It's ok, I don't believe you. :)

The lack of details, twin turbos (big HP Supra use a single turbo setup usually), 7 speed, blah.. NM. Not worth arguing about. :)

Also, who the hell runs a fan on their intercooler? LOL

Your a moron. Why the hell are posing to own a Supra. Id be willing to bet your no older then 15. I dont know where the hell you pulled all this BS from. Ive NEVER heard of anything you talked about on a supra. Fucken 7 speed and AWD.. Are you kidding?! If your near a window, open it and jump out and save everyone you know from any more pain of knowing such a retarded jackass. :WRONG!!!!

I went 210 in a supra once. It was about three years ago playing a video game. :p

uh, the xt6 came right before the svx. it was also very advanced for the time, hydro struts, electronic power steering, electric everything really.
the 5 spd manual will hit 150, the auto, about 130 downhill.
uh, its sohc so it has more torque than hp. 156 to 145.
all wheel drive. theres no frame as you can see from the pic. weighs a lil over 2000lbs. awesome rally machine. no mods exist unless its custom. the turbo is still being worked on.

the xt6 gearheads are thinking it should be able to hit about 170 top, and 12s in the quarter when its done. they took the XT (1.8L 4 banger, 95hp), turboed it, and ran 13s with it. eh.

The reason I don't remember is because the car got stolen and totaled about 2 years ago when I was living in DC. If you want to think it is BS, go right ahead. I don't play BS games though... But whatever... like you said - it's not worth arguing about. I doubt you would believe me even if I had proof to show you; so believe whatever you want.

I have hit 172 mph according to my GPS although according to TMO Datalogger RPM level I should have been doing 186 mph. I think my clutch was slipping a little bit. The speedometer was pegged but that doesn’t really mean anything.

White knuckles scary. The back of the hood on the driver’s side lifted and bent some. It is definitely a good way to die. :p

Note this is not a confession and not admissible in court.

Did you survive?

How fast has everyone gone in snow?
I've done about 85 during a blizzard without studs. That may not seem fast but when you can't see anything and you're on the verge of spinning out it's scary.
