What is the difference in horse power between a normal 3000gt and a vr4 model? What are the top speeds? How fast does each car do 0-60mph in?

Go to the home page and look for specifications on this. That will answer alot of your questions.

OK. I will properly break you in here.

I have/had owned both a 94 3000GT BASE (DOHC 222HP) and a 96 VR-4 (320HP at one time)

The difference is night and day. Difference in handling, performance, luxury, options, etc. It's honest to God a completely different car to me. As much as I love/miss my old 3000GT (sold recently), I miss it for what it is. A properly driven stock VR-4, regardless of year, will rip the DOHC a new asshole like you would not believe. The DOHC can actually hang a bit on the highway due to the VR-4 AWD drive train loss but will get walked away from fairly easily. From a dead stop, a VR-4 will leave the DOHC like it was broken down. Gotta enjoy both cars for what they are.

0-60 is ghey and should never be used. 1/4 miles

SOHC = 16s somewhere. It doesn't matter.
M5 DOHC = 15.3-15.6 @ 92-94MPH
A4 DOHC = 15.7-16.0 @ 90-93MPH
91-93 VR-4 = 13.6-14.0@99-101MPH
93-99 VR-4 = 13.4-13.7@100-103MPH

Hardly not. 0-60 is very difficult to gauge. A WRX has a better 0-60 than the SRT-4 but the SRT-4 0wns the WRX.
