View Full Version : Woohoo. Just got my wheels put on!!!

Finally got my wheels and tires put on yesterday. I will post pics later tonight.
Here is what they look like. I got gunmetal even though it kind of clashes with my car's white paint. I think it looks a lot tougher though than chrome or silver. They are 17" Velox VX-Scythe.

My tires are Falken Azenis. Go to this link to see them.

Those would look sweet on your car in black.
The wheels and tires cost almost $2400 altogether:(
What are you doing today? We can swap the disks and then I can show them off.:D

So that car is for the Off road rally right?

I knew that was coming. The wheel gap is temporary until I move. I have 2 giganticus speed bumps by my house, one is actually in front of my house. When I pass over them, my pipes are about 1/4 of an inch away from the apex of the speedbumps. Any lower and I will scrape like a sumabitch. I will definitely be cutting the springs though. I just have to wait a while.
Haha Chris.

DO NOT CUT YOUR SPRINGS....just buy some intrax. Are those 16's or 17's? To bad you couldn't get 18's or 19's. Well at least in the winter time you can put somee 33" Mickey Thompson's mud swampers on it.:D
Until you lower it put some Armor All all over your wheel wells.
got gap!

How many children have you lost in those wheel wells? You could probably rent out the space in there to some mexicans for a nice chunk of change....

You guys are killing me.
I was mulling around the idea earlier today about taking a sledgehammer to those speed bumps in the middle of the night.

well if you're not goingto lower car right away, at least wash the wheel wells every now and then..fuck man, you have like 1/2 inch of dirt of those things.....

Wheels and tires look good! Once you get your rotors cleaned up and paint your calipers should make a huge difference too. Man, sorry to keep rubbing this in, but that is the biggest wheel gap I've ever seen on a 3S car!;)

either way, the roads in juarez are HORRIBLE. don't go for a "crazy low" or else you'll never get out of juarez alive. i go there to visit my dad every now and then and if i stray off course of the path i take, i can pretty much kiss my bottom end and struts goodbye.

Wheel gap can be expected on stock rims, but when you get nice rims the gap better disappear with the stock rims.

I figure they can be like sharecroppers. They can use the space in the other gaps to grow crops, use some for themselves, and give the rest to Richy as payment.

Oh wtf ever that is not your real wheel gap. He is just playin with us what he really did was jack up both the front and rear as far as possible. Let it sit for about an hour on the jacks then he dropped the car back down and took some pics as fast as he could before the springs even had a chance to settle.

Richy,
What if you built a theme park in the wheel gap and charged a $20 admission fee to get in. You could call it Wheel Gap World. It could be a half water park, half go cart racing. What do you think?
AbsurdParadox
- July 29th, 2002, 04:01 PM
So when people talk about shopping at the Gap, is this where they're talking about?
I do love the rims, though! I wonder if those would look good on a black car.

I've very proud of my sig....spent the morning working on it. I'm just waiting to get some pics of the current gf so I can place a real woman in there. BTW - I'm going to have to replace my tires before the NG. I tore up my current set AutoX'n. Anyone have any reviews on Kuhmos?
