Auto trans question..

Is there any kind of sensor or soleniod on the tranny that can go south? My tranny is starting to shift funny.. like when cold it downshifts to 1st hard and when cruising on the highway at 60mph and when it downshifts, it'll shift harsh... The fluid is full and have it changed at the correct intervals. I know these transmissions are crap but I hope mine isn't taking one soon.

I low speeds when coming to a stop the hard shifting is caused by the low gear piston

I have a similar problem and read the TCU codes and it came up with error 31 which is voltage generator.I have changed this but still have the fault.The check engine light also comes on often.I will try and re do my voltage generator again tomorrow and post what I find
