Just a couple of questions for you all. What are the things that you should always check and change on our cars besides running high octane fuel, regular oil changes, letting the car sit after a hard drive (if you do not have a turbo timer), and always checking for t-case leaks???? And by the way, lol, how do you check for t-case leaks? And also, I have no mods so i don't have to tune like you all.

Look for a fluid dripping out of the area where your drive shaft meets the transmission. That is the T.C. If you are not modded, no need to do anything else.

Also, if you are a first generation (91-93) Twin Turbo, there was a transfer case recall. I think you can goto your local dealer and swap it with a new one. I am not a TT owner so I am not completly positive on this.

Ya i took my beast in for the t-case recall but the mitsu dealer said it wasn't defective or leaking (my 18 spline unit) so they just filled her up and sent me on my way......... So if you ever hear of a MN kid driving a black cherry 91 TT and dying in a car accident due to TC lockup, you'll know it was me

LOL...Hopefully that wont happen. Isn't if something is recalled, the dealer has to fix it? I am probably wrong though.

If it is just leaking but not damaged, the dealer will fix the seals and refill it. If it is damaged badly enough, they have to replace it.
