Dream Car

I guess my dream car would have to be a New Corvette. Right now it would be a Z06 but whenever I do get one, it will be brand new.

I made myself a promise that I will have one before I turn 50 years old. I have 17 years to go. Actually, 16 and a half.

I'd probably go with the NSX. I've driven them a few times, even had the pleasure of driving a used one for the last time...well the real last time, the dealership's GM took it out after I got back and a mile from the dealership he wrapped it around a guardrail. :D :mad:

Wow I never knew how many 3/S owners want Corvettes! Yep- I am also looking to sell my 97' SL (as the downpayment) on a C5 but it will be a used 00' model or newer with less than 30k miles on it for around $35,000. Black on Black with the 5 star cromies and a 6 speed baby:) I will probably get mine over the next year or so!

I suppose I could get a used Z06 but I just don't like the way they look or those rims compared to the regular C5. And anything like an NSX-T or Porche 911 is way out of my price range for the mileage I'm looking for. I can't go over $35k and it has to have less than 30k miles on it no matter what kind of car it is!

IMO, the vette is probably the most beautiful American car ever made. Serious power to boot. I can never get enough of seeing that car no matter how often I see one. I still look over to the other side of the freeway and turn my entire head around exorcist style whenever they pass.

I would have to say a Spyder VR-4. I love 3000's, I love VR-4s (but don't have one), and I love convertibles....it's the best of all worlds.

Do they make 'em in pearl blue? :D

C5, VR4 spyder, Viper, NSX but I think only the C5 and Spyder are more in my price range. My actual dream car is a Ferrari. I can't tell you witch one, because I like too many.

A local guy, who will not race me at the 1/8 track ;) owns a really nice 600 or so HP Supra. I like the way he chose to fix it up. He even complimented me on some of my runs. Not bad coming from a Supra owner.

Right now, I will buy just about any color they have. The problem is actually finding one to order. Every dealer I call tells me the same story. I have to wait until Aug-Sept to see if anybody doesn't want the car they order. But yes, the Blue one is my top choice, If they had a couple to choose from.

If you get on eBay, you can order one for the amount listed, over list price. So, to get one early, you might have to pay $1,500 over list, but you will get one of the first ones. You should check it out. How large of a sig do you want? 300x500 px.?
